Fionnuala Ní Áinle, M.D, Ph.D., Rotunda Hospital (Ireland): "COVID-19 & Coagulopathies in Pregnancy"

Dr. Ní Áinle will review venous thromboembolism risk in pregnancy, with a focus on how the multidisciplinary team of 2020 may consider approaching VTE risk assessment and risk management in the COVID-19 era. She will also discuss the potential emerging mechanisms underlying COVID-19 associated coagulopathy and how these may be relevant to the pregnant patient

Jennifer Davila, M.D., Children's Hospital at Montefiore (U.S.): "Pediatric Patients with COVID-19"

Dr. Davila will discuss the risk and management of VTE in Children in general.  She will also identify characteristics of COVID infection and coagulopathy in children
